  This document describes the installation and usage of gcelib. gcelib is a Python client library for interacting with Google Compute Engine. gcelib differs from the Google APIs Client Library for Python in that gcelib is a higher-level library; it supports:

  Waiting for completion of asynchronous operations;
  Parallel operations on lists of objects (i.e., insert or delete list of instances);
  Default values; and
  Automatic conversion of relative object references to absolute.
